Prophet Adam
آدمThe first human and prophet, created by Allah from clay. His story teaches about the nature of humanity, free will, and repentance.

شيثSon of Adam and recipient of 50 scriptures. He continued his father's mission of guiding humanity after the death of Adam.

Prophet Nuh
نوحPreached to his people for 950 years. Built the Ark by Allah's command to survive the great flood that destroyed the disbelievers.
Prophet Hud
هودSent to the people of 'Ad in ancient Arabia. They were a mighty civilization destroyed by a fierce wind after rejecting his message.
Prophet Salih
صالحSent to Thamud with the miracle of the she-camel. His people were destroyed by an earthquake after they hamstrung the camel.
Prophet Ibrahim
إبراهيمThe friend of Allah (Khalilullah). Built the Kaaba with his son Ismail. His faith was tested with the command to sacrifice his son.
Prophet Lut
لوطNephew of Ibrahim, sent to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. His people were destroyed for their wickedness and transgression.
Prophet Ismail
إسماعيلSon of Ibrahim and Hajar. He helped build the Kaaba and was the ancestor of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Known for his patience and truthfulness.
Prophet Ishaq
إسحاقSon of Ibrahim and Sarah, born miraculously when both parents were elderly. Father of Yaqub and ancestor of many prophets of Bani Israel.
Prophet Yaqub
يعقوبAlso known as Israel. Father of the twelve tribes. His patience through the loss and reunion with Yusuf is one of the most moving stories in the Quran.
Prophet Yusuf
يوسفHis story is called 'the best of stories' in the Quran. Thrown into a well by his brothers, he rose to become the minister of Egypt through patience and faith.
Prophet Ayyub
أيوبA model of patience and gratitude. He endured severe illness and loss for years, yet never lost faith. Allah restored his health, family, and wealth.
Prophet Shuayb
شعيبKnown as the 'Orator of the Prophets' for his eloquence. Sent to the people of Madyan who cheated in trade and measurements.
Prophet Musa
موسىThe most frequently mentioned prophet in the Quran. Led the Israelites out of Egypt, received the Torah on Mount Sinai, and spoke directly with Allah.
Prophet Harun
هارونBrother of Musa and his assistant in the mission to Pharaoh. Known for his eloquence and gentle nature. He served as prophet alongside Musa.
Prophet Yusha ibn Nun
يوشع بن نونThe young companion of Musa and his successor who led the Israelites into the Holy Land after Musa's passing.

ذو الكفلMentioned among the patient and righteous. Scholars differ on his identity — some say he was Ezekiel, others say he was Bishr ibn Ayyub.
Prophet Dawud
داودKing and prophet who defeated Jalut (Goliath). Received the Zabur (Psalms). Known for his beautiful voice in praising Allah and his just rule.
Prophet Sulayman
سليمانSon of Dawud. Given dominion over jinn, animals, and wind. Built a magnificent kingdom while remaining devoted to Allah. Known for his wisdom.
Prophet Ilyas
إلياسSent to the people of Baalbek (in modern Lebanon) who worshipped the idol Ba'l. He called them to abandon idolatry and worship Allah alone.
Prophet Al-Yasa
اليسعSuccessor of Ilyas, mentioned among the righteous and preferred above all people. He continued the mission of calling Bani Israel to the worship of Allah.
Prophet Yunus
يونسKnown as Dhun-Nun (the companion of the whale). Left his people in frustration, was swallowed by a whale, and was saved after his sincere repentance.
Prophet Zakariyya
زكرياGuardian of Maryam and father of Yahya. He prayed for a righteous heir in old age, and Allah granted him Yahya as a miraculous gift.
Prophet Yahya
يحيىSon of Zakariyya, given wisdom as a child. He was chaste, pious, and dutiful to his parents. The first to bear this name, given by Allah Himself.
Prophet Isa
عيسىBorn miraculously to Maryam without a father. A mighty messenger who performed miracles by Allah's permission. He was raised to heaven and will return before the Day of Judgment.
Prophet Muhammad
محمد ﷺThe final messenger and seal of the prophets. Received the Quran over 23 years. His life is the model for all Muslims and a mercy to all of creation.
